I love the Finnish language, and I'm genuinely happy we have our own language, however I most often feel like writing in English, and this time is no exception.

Yesterday I went to Tampere for an eye check up. I was told everything is alright. After that I went shopping and found some dvds - Tears Go By, Click! and Lucky Number S7evin.

They had set up a Christmas market place, and I decided to wander for a while before going back home. They happened to have the opening ceremony that time, so I stayed to see that. I didn't know what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised they had very good local artists performing. I'll share a few photos and my thoughts. 

Sanna Säntti is a wonderful girl. Her delivery of words is so natural. I love her smile and her hair. And, let's get to the point - she's a wonderful singer! Her voice is delicate beautiful and she sings with emotion and passion, I enjoy listening to her singing.

Then they introduced me to the Finnish Elvis - Aaron. My, his voice is fantastic and I wished I had been there with my friends so I could have felt free to scream more... because he has that pelvis of Elvis. Anyway I let out random whoops which seemed to bug a couple of aunties.. sorry.^^' -> And the unfortunate thing that happens every time they look at you, and you just lose your sh*t and the photo gets all blurry but oh well, still hot!^^

They had the famous Pate Mustajärvi performing, and I was able to snap this one photo, because when he was singing, those aunties suddenly appeared in front of me all excited, haha, so cute! :DD

I can't believe how I always STOP. DOING. THINGS.

I mean the way I always enthusiastically dance every day, sing often, write stories that continue, write blog frequently.. and then all of a sudden, I just don't do those things anymore. I was supposed to finish the continuing story I even posted on Facebook for people to read.. and they've been waiting for another chapter for no one remembers how long.. and don't even mention this blog..

I feel I've failed in that sense that I haven't done the things that used to matter to me so much. Of course, lately, I've done meaningful things, like, working..

I think I'm in this danger zone of almost working too much. I have my full time job, and yet I sometimes work as substitute in another work place, which means I sometimes work 13 hours a day or I only have one day off in a week.

Yesterday it was Saturday and I was working again, having today my only day off this week. And gosh, I feel so ill... I've only been trying to make myself get over this illness, relax and enjoy music and talking to people. I enjoyed some time ago when I had time to meet people in the weekends, and I haven't even had time to write here about those lovely times.

Good night! I'll go to sleep and try to be fresh in the morning to go to work.. ahh waiting for Thursday which is a holiday! On Friday I'll work 13 hours.. ^^'

In Memoriam: Leslie Cheung

I wonder how it felt for Leslie Cheung’s fans, to hear the announcement of his suicide, on April Fool’s Day, 10 years ago. Always so cheerful, loving and loved by all, whole nation’s “big brother” had decided to leave this world behind. I only got to know him after his death, and my goodness, I love his music and his films. I love him. Leslie Cheung, may your sweet and kind soul be free and blissful. We miss you so.

New hair and new job!

Aiyo! I've been soooo lazy blogging. I guess I've been so busy with my new wonderful phone that I don't have time for computer anymore, haha. Hmm..they do have Blogger app.. nah!
Haha really I've been busy with work! I have clean office work now! I've been working there for two weeks now. I'm learning the job in March, and in April I'm supposed to be an expert, gosh.
It's just too cool, huh?! I love client work. Really happy about this job. ^^

I'm not writing much again, because it's laaaaaate.  I'm just quickly showing you guys I have a new haircut.^^

Ensin työ, sitten huvi, ainakin blogissa

Don't you just love my black slang, it's so natural..  The title means "first work, then fun, at least in blog.

The slang is all his fault. Word.

Työrintamalta jotain uutta: menen hiihtolomalla (maaliskuun vaihteessa) kehitysvammaisten aikuisten talvileirille ohjaajaksi. Leiri kestää vain neljä päivää ja kolme yötä. Aika menee varmasti tosi nopeasti ja uskon, että on hauskaa ja palkitsevaa hommaa.

Seuraavalla viikolla aloitan uudenlaisen työn. Toimistotöitä olisi luvassa ja aluksi työkokeiluna. Myönnän heti kättelyssä, että olen autuaasti pihalla, mutta yritän parhaani, että oppisin työhön ja saisin jatkaa sitä kauemmin kuin kuukauden, jos käy niin, ettei ole vaihtoehtoja..

When the month is changing I'll be working for four days and three nights in a so called winter camp for mentally handicapped adults.  I'm sure time will fly and it'll be fun and rewarding work.The next week I'll start as a trainee, working in an office. Hope I'll learn the job and be able to work longer than a month. If I don't have anything else later, that is.

Mitä olen puuhaillut.. Yllätys yllätys olen lähinnä istunut koneella, kuunnellut musiikkia ja viettänyt aikaa muun muassa Tumblrissa... ja ollut aika addiktoitunut Candy Crush Sagaan FB:ssä.. ja siinä taas yksi syy, miksi haluan älypuhelimen. T.T

Siinäpä yksi juttu, josta voisin kirjoittaa.. olen kirjoittanut listaa siitä, mitä haluan ostaa sitten, kun on rahaa. Voi, olisipa YesAsiassa vielä kaikki mahtavat tarjoukset sitten, kun oikeasti voin tehdä tilauksen!

Ensimmäisenä asiana haluan sen älypuhelimen.

Sitten haluan kivat kuoret siihen puhelimeeni.

Ja sitten haluan muita kivoja juttuja.

Then, about what have I been doing.. Surprise, I've been sitting at the computer and listened to music and spent time on Tumblr for example.. then I have been kinda addicted to Candy Crush Saga on FB.. and it's one more reason I want a smart phone. T.T

There's another thing I could write about.. I've been making a list of what I wanna buy when I have money. Awh, I wish YesAsia will still have all the good deals when I'm actually able to order!! 

First thing is smart phone.

Ai niin, vaihdoin blogin bannerin. Taidan pitää tämän pitkään, koska tästä oikeasti tykkään. ^_^ Siinä on Nu'est JR, Exo-M Kris, SpeXial Zi Hong ja F.Cuz Kan, kaikki mun biasit noista ryhmistä ja kaikissa on mun mielestäni aika lailla samaa näköä ja rakastan niitä kaikkia. *__*

Oh yeah, and I changed my banner. I think I'll keep this one for a long time, because this one I really like. ^_^ There are Nu'est JR, Exo-M Kris, SpeXial Zi Hong and F.Cuz Kan, all of my biases from those groups and who I think look very much alike with each other and I adooooore all of them. *__*

Feels ~

I'm in a good mood. ^^ I'm happy because I will most probably have a job quite soon..

Last weekend, I met with a friend that I had not seen in a long time. I love Laura, she is so nice! And there were these two friends of hers and I do consider them my friends too already, they were so nice too! I was super happy to meet them all, and I got to know someone who I can call eonnie, oh my goodness oh my soul ;~; [Jungmin quote] I'm just so happy! ^^

And Laura had held some doll things of mine because she had placed an order for both of us. I was supposed to collect my stuff some time, and it took who knows how long for me to actually pay a visit! Better late than never.

Melissa used to have brown hair and purple eyes before. I was supposed to try new pink hair with purple eyes (how adorable!), but guess what, I was too excited to try out the new turquoise eyes so I simply forgot! I'll try when I have inspiration to change the style again.^^ I bought the turquoise eyes from Laura, and the stuff she had held for me were a pink wig, a black wig and shoes, but guess what, my girl's feet are too big for the shoes haha. But the two new wigs are both awesome and here are some photos of new looks! I ended up with using the first pair of eyes she had, for now, because brown eyes look good with black hair, am I right?

I feel like going to a doll meeting after a long time. I'm so looking forward to working and getting moneyyy lol. I miss my friends who live in other cities. I wanna go see them.

How I waste time

This couldn't be more true. Doing unnecessary things makes me happy! I share some photos of how I spend my time really enjoying it. And to tease you and make your sweet tooth ache, I added marshmallows to the photos..lol. No but seriously, they are so cute!

These days I always have nail polish. It prevents me from biting my nails. Who wants to bite cute nails that taste like nail polish too? In the photo you also see my cute nail clipper, it's a pig rabbit (You're Beautiful drama, anyone?) although I think it's ears are fail.. Anyway, I love putting on nail colors and have an excuse to watch drama or something because "I can't touch anything now"..

I scroll books about drawing and get inspired to draw. I really love drawing but often I just frustrate myself by sketching something that doesn't really turn out anything and argh. Seeing cute drawings helps draw cute drawings. But you can't be too critical. You know your pictures will lack something but so what.

 

Then I use a reference as an inspiration to draw something cute. I suck with measures. Even with a reference I get them wrong. Like, I seriously tried to draw the face the same shape, but it turned out long and narrow.

Here's what I managed to draw. I'm pleased. It's been long since I drew anything and this turned out quite pretty, I think.

And here you see some photo albums. They look cute and girly right?! (Snow White's hand on Belles' butt is suspicious tho.) And the content is for girly girls indeed: beautiful photos of good looking guys. Yes, that's my collection of male celebrity photocards. The other album's title said "My most beloved gloss pictures" and I changed it to "my most beloved gloss picture boys" (rakkaimmat kiiltokuvapojat), "kiiltokuvapoika" is a term in Finnish meaning a beautiful boy, kind of like a flower boy.

Haaste: haaveilua

Teen tällä kertaa haasteen, jonka bongasin Wampin blogista.

Nyt mietitään kymmenen asiaa, jotka olisi kiva saavuttaa/ tehdä tämän vuoden aikana! Unelmien ei pidä olla mitään liian isoja, mutta ei tavallisiakaan! Ja kyse ei ole mistään uuden vuoden lupauksista, vaan unelmista!

Asiat siis listataan ylös ja toteutetaan pitkin tätä vuotta.

Aina kun toteutat unelmasi, olisi kiva, jos tekisit siitä pienenmuotoisen postauksen :) Tai vaikka kaikki toteutettuasi yksi postaus kaikista kerralla. Pakko ei siis ole, että unelmia on niitä ihan salaisiakin! Mutta olisi kiva seurata unelmien toteutumista!
Haasta kuusi bloggaajaa!

1. Aloita uudessa työpaikassa

Olisi aika surullista, jos tätä tavoitetta en saisi toteutettua koko vuonna. T.T Työnhaku on käynnissä...

2. Hanki älypuhelin

Heti, kun saan rahaa tulevista töistä, niin aion käyttää ne mahdollisimman nopeasti uuteen puhelimeen! XD Kyllä mä älypuhelimen tarvitsen. Olin päivän poissa koneelta ja mulla meni koko tää päivä, kun selasin, mitä Tumblrissa oli tapahtunut!

3. Tee edes yksi ikuisuusprojekti valmiiksi
Aloitan uusia tarinoita, ideoin uusia videoita, suunnittelen kaikenlaista... valmistuuko mitään oikeastaan? Haluaisin ainakin julkaista viimein kunnon lauluja omien musiikkivideoiden kera Youtubessa, ja haluaisin kirjoittaa loppuun edes yhden tarinan.

4. Saavuta SoShi-sääret

Lol tälle, mutta siis yritän tanssia ja tehdä lihasliikkeitä sen verran ahkerasti, että saisin edes 50% yhtä viehättävät jalat kuin SNSD:n tytöillä. 

Tiedän, että tää kuulostaa todella pinnalliselta ja saattaa jopa loukata jotakuta, mutta mä ihailen sopusuhtaisuutta vartalossa, ja oon vähän kyllästynyt siihen, että mulla on tosi pieni yläkroppa ja mun alakroppa leviää. Niin se tekee, vaikkei sitä muut kai näe. Ja koska mulla on parit sellaiset housut, joihin mahduin joskus, mutten mahdu enää. Olisi ihana yks päivä vaan vetää ne jalkaan taas! ^^

5. Näe kaukana asuvia kavereita

Nyt on pakko huomauttaa, että nää ei ole tärkeysjärjestyksessä! :D Yksi iso haave on, että sitten kun on sitä rahaa.. niin pääsisin käymään eri puolilla Suomea katsomassa kavereita, joita en ole nähnyt pitkiin aikoihin.

6. Pidä enemmän yhteyttä kavereihin

Olen huono pitämään yhteyttä kavereihin ja haluaisin muuttaa tätä. Usein miettiessäni, että pitäisi ottaa puhelin kauniiseen käteen, sivuutan ajatuksen kädenheilautuksella "ei nekään mulle soita", ja että kyllä ne mielessä ja sydämessä on kuitenkin. Totta on sekin, mutta kyllä se olisi mukava vaihtaa kuulumisia useammin. Yritän ryhdistäytyä.

7. Luovu turhasta tavarasta

En todellakaan pysty luopumaan kaikesta, mikä monen mielestä on turhaa.. mutta mun todella pitää yrittää luopua joistain jutuista ja oikeasti uskoa, etten esimerkiksi a) koskaan kuuntele tätä levyä tai b) koskaan käytä näitä housuja. 

8. Täydennä kokoelmia

Ja hei, sitten kun pääsen eroon tavarasta, jota en tarvitse, on tilaa uudelle tavaralle! Anteeksi, mutta mulla on vielä pitkä lista elokuvia ja musiikkia, jotka tahdon!

9. Pidä kiinni harrastuksista

Mulla on lista, että mitä teen minäkin viikonpäivänä, jotta tulisi harrastettua säännöllisesti. Tiistaina tanssin musiikkivideoiden parissa, keskiviikkona kirjoitan, torstaina tanssin itämaista opiston kurssilla ja lauantaina laulan - tai niin mun pitäisi. Yksi tavoite on, että pitäisin kiinni tästä yksinkertaisesta aikataulusta. Tää auttaisi mua myös toteuttamaan ikuisuusprojekteja kuten kirjoittamaan loppuun jonkun tarinan ja laulamaan Youtubeen.

10. Opiskele kiinaa

Haluaisin hankkia jonkun kiinan oppikirjan ja oikein tosissaan opiskella kiinaa niin, että voisin oikeasti vielä keskustella kiinaksi.

Good music is timeless & universal

Mikä teidän musiikkimakunne on? What is your taste in music?

Mun vanhemmat ovat aina olleet ylpeitä mun musiikkimausta, joka on hyvin samanlainen kuin heillä. Rakastan 60-, 70-, 80- ja 90-lukujen musiikkia. Koreapopin yms. kuuntelemista he eivät kuitenkaan ole yhtä paljon arvostaneet. Ja mietin itsekseni, että miksei?! / Why don't my parents appreciate my listening to kpop etc as much as they appreciate me listening to the music they listened to when they were young?

Juttuhan on niin, että rakastan aasialaista poppia juuri siitä syystä, että se kuulostaa niin samalta kuin 80- ja 90-lukujen popmusiikki. Poikabändi- ja tyttöbändithän kehitettiin noilla vuosikymmenillä niin Euroopassa, Amerikassa kuin Aasiassakin, ja ilmiö on samankaltainen nykypäivänä. / I love Asian pop music because it sounds so similar to the pop music back in the 80s and the 90s. That's when boybands and girl groups became a hit and I think it's still quite similar today.

Olen jo muutaman kerran blogissakin maininnut hongkongilaisen Cao Mengin, jonka kulta-aikaa oli 90-luku. Koreassa ilmiö räjähti käyntiin oikeastaan, kun SM Entertainment perusti vuonna 1996 H.O.T.:n, joka hajosi 2000-luvun alussa. / I have mentioned Cao Meng from Hong Kong before in my blog. In Korea the boy band and girl band concept exploded to fame when SM Entertainment in 1996 founded H.O.T. that disbanded early this millenium.



Candy kuulostaa aika paljon samalta kuin samoihin aikoihin tehdyt eurooppalaiset biisit, eivätkä poppibiisit ole radikaalisti muuttuneet mielestäni tänäkään päivänä. Siispä minnalogiikalla TYKKÄÄT KASARISTA = TYKKÄÄT KPOPISTA. / I think Candy sounds pretty similar to the European songs released that time, and I don't think pop music has changed very much from those days. So in minna logic IF YOU LIKE THE 80S = YOU LIKE KPOP.

Tänään julkaistiin yhden H.O.T.:n jäsenen, Moon Hee Junin (kuvassa vasemmalla), soolobiisi. Tykkään!! / Today a former H.O.T. member Moon Hee Jun (on the left) released a music video for his new solo song. I like it!



Vielä enemmän tykkään saman sukupolven poikabändistä Shinhwasta, joka teki comebackin viime vuonna. / Even more I like a boy band of the same generation, called Shinhwa. They had a comeback last year.

Olen lukenut juoruja myös H.O.T.:n comebackista - ja Sechskiesin comebackista, josta olisin todella onnellinen! Sechskiesin musiikki on täydellisen ihanaa, ja rakastan päävokalisti Kang Sung Hunin ääntä. Ostaisin hänen sooloalbuminsa, jos niitä löytyisi vielä jostain.. / I've also read about the possibility of H.O.T,'s comeback - and Sechskies comeback which I'd be very happy about! Their music is ever so lovely and I love main vocalist Kang Sung Hun's voice. I'd buy his solo albums if I could still find them somewhere..

Asian flavors

Hey yo guys! ~

Shortly in English first! I went to Helsinki last weekend to meet dear friends which was what I was expecting from the trip. I also had lunch with boyfriend in a restaurant called Singapore Hot Wok, we love the food there!

I'm always buying movies on sale.. this time I bought No Matter What, Confession of Pain and Dead or Alive. The first movie I was most excited about because I saw it once before and I loved it very much! The second movie I was happy to find, too, because I love both Tony Leung and Takeshi Kaneshiro...^^ I'm an action freak so DoA doesn't sound bad at all either.

Viikonlopusta sen verran, että Helsingissä käytiin ja tavattiin kolmikkoa EmSoRi, ja sitä olin odottanutkin innolla! Odotukset siis täyttyivät. Käytiin myös syömässä Singapore Hot Wok -nimisessä paikassa. Tykätään poikaystävän kanssa kumpikin niiden ruuasta!

Kuten arvata saattaa, vainusin taas alennuskorista leffoja, ja olinkin ikionnellinen kahdesta niistä! Ensimmäisenä löysin Kohti suurta unelmaa -elokuvan, joka on ruotsalaisen Oscar Peterssonin ohjaama Kiinassa kiinalaistiimin kanssa tehty draamaelokuva nuoren naisen unelmasta tulla laulajaksi. Olen kerran lainannut leffan kirjastosta ja rakastuin siihen heti.

Toinen löytö oli Confession of Pain, josta olin innoissani, koska siinä on ...

Kolmas (kolme leffaa kympillä) ostamani elokuva oli Dead or Alive, joka on japanilaisen kulttiohjaajan Takashi Miiken ohjaama hyvin hyvin HYVIN väkivaltaiseksi mainittu elokuva. Etu- ja takakansi ovat täynnä koomisia varoituksia elokuvan visuaalisuuden vahvasta tasosta. Kuulostaa siis vähintään mielenkiintoiselta.

Huomaan hamstraavani nykyään paljon aasialaisia elokuvia, mutta olen todennut sen aiheutuvan pitkälti siitäkin, että mulla alkaa jo olla amerikkalaiset sun muut elokuvat, jotka haluankin, ja joita löytyy. Listalla on tietysti vielä sellaisia, joita en ole hyvään hintaan bongannut (Judge Dredd).

Kävin työkkärissä maanantaina ja työnhaku jatkuu. Sain kotitehtäviä ja täytin cv-netin lomakkeen ja luin työnhakuinfon. En edes tiennyt, että mulla on oikeus jopa muuttoavustukseen, jos saan töitä muualta. Kuin siistii. Suomen valtio pitää kansalaisista hyvää huolta loppujen lopuksi.

Kommentoisitteko tähän postaukseen, miksi olette päättäneet seurata blogiani eli mitä juttuja kaipaatte eniten? Oma päätelmäni on, että seuraajani ovat 1) real life -kavereita, joita kiinnostaa mun kuulumiset, 2) kanssa-kpop-faneja ja/ tai 3) kanssa-nukkeharrastajia.

Tähän postaukseen sisällytän nyt kuulumiset, kpoppia ja nukkeilua kiitokseksi seuraajilleni!
En kirjoita blogia vain itselleni. Mulle on tärkeää, että jotkut muutkin näitä lukee.♥

Kuulumiset: Etsin tällä hetkellä töitä kuumeisesti, edelleen.. Olen laajentanut hakuani tästä yhdestä kaupungista, joskin hakemukset jäävät monesti omalle koneelle, kun epäröin. Maanantaina menen keskustelemaan työkkärin tädin kanssa.

Odotan innolla huomista, koska ollaan menossa kaverin synttärijuhliin ja näkee siis taas pitkästä aikaa kamuja! ^^ Ihanaa! Ja saan pukea päälle uuden ihanan paidan, vaikka mietinkin vielä, mitä ihmettä puen sen kanssa haha.

Kpop: tällä hetkellä odotan CNBluen uuden albumin julkaisua.. Teaserien perusteella on tulossa jotain, mistä tykkään ja todella paljon! Mä oon oikeesti paljon enemmän popin ystävä kuin rokin, mutta CNB on onnistunut hurmaamaan mut. Tämän teaserin jälkeen rakastuin Jungshiniin uudestaan. Se on basisti. Se oli mun ehdoton bias silloin, kun ne debytoi.



B.A.P.:n comebackia odotan myös..^^ Ja mitäs tässä on julkaistu viime aikoina..? Super Junior-M:n ja Boyfriendin comebackit oli mun mielestä hyviä, muttei ihmeellisiä.

En yleensä ole erityisen innoissani tyttöbändeistä, mutta nyt olen kyllä valmis yhden sellaisen faniksi! GLAM on ihana sekoitus hip hopia ja söpöilyä. ^^ I Like That -koreografia on ihanan hop!

Hey yo guys!

Finally I made a banner for this blog, geez.

The photo was taken in Singapore. It's from "Zodiac Garden" in Chinese Garden. It's one of the most awesome places I've visited. It's a green beautiful garden with statues of each of Chinese zodiac signs. Each statue has an animal couple, so I find it very romantic.

Dragon is my Chinese sign. I had to use my dragon insticts to find this statue in the garden. It was so well hidden! The original photo is very dark due to the shady location. This one is mirrored and light balanced again.

I felt deep togetherness with this dragon statue, like it was speaking to me.^^ So I find this photo very suitable for my blog where I honestly share my feelings and interests.

Cao Meng actually mostly covered Europop, but I think we can call the songs Chinese due to the Chinese lyrics and the new arrangement.
Cao Meng's choreographies are phenomenal.. No, seriously, they are very cheesy -- I like it! XD ♥
